Updates from The Reluctant Vegetarian

Monday Monday...

Good Day to all,

I am so grateful to be letting you know of the progress that I am making on the book.  First and foremost I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to all of the atendees of the first "taste" of the reluctant vegetarian.  The event was a wild success, and I had such a lovely time introducing so many beautiful people to the food that I hope will inspire you to get in the kitchen and create a little alchemy of your own.

The initial date the the book was expected was July 2009.  The new date for the release is Dec 2009.  The process is proving to be quite a learning experience and is taking a bit longer than anticipated.  I am also wanting to again thank all of my book angels that have invested in this project, as well as each of you that has already pre-ordered the book.

My heart is overflowing with joy for the love and support that has already been shown to me and I am asking for your continued support on this last leg of the race.  I am looking forward to placing your signed copy of, A Taste of the Reluctant Vegetarian, into each of your hands.

Peace and love,
Iccha Devi Ra

"May the sun bring you energy by day, may the moon softly restore you by night, may the rain wash away your worries, may the breeze blow new strenght into your being.  May you walk gently through the world, and know it's beauty all the days of your life."

  1. Hi!!! Loved the Blog show today. Two question:
Why are you reluctant? And for the poetry show coming up, will any kids/teens around the neighborhoods be reading their poettry? The reason I ask is that ART is one of the best avenues for leading kids away from "The Life"
    Here's an example:

He combines hypnotic and fiery storytelling, street savvy perceptiveness, and spellbinding interpretations of ancient myths with a deep knowledge of cross-cultural rituals. He has created 'Voices of Youth' a series of projects that involve diverse youth in a variety of communities. Through Voices, youth are engaged in the creation of an artistic forum for their own expression while developing mentoring relationships within their community."
